My second week in Toledo was filled with fun events and beautiful decorations. Yesterday was a major holiday here: Corpus Christi. There are flowers, lanterns, and tapestries hung throughout the city. On Wednesday, we went to a concert in Toledo where Spanish pop artists performed. I didn’t know the artists but the music was great! On Thursday, we spent most of the day wandering through Toledo, admiring all of the decorations. We also stopped by the cathedral, where there was a lovely display set up for Corpus Christi. I’m really happy that we got to be here for the holiday; Toledo looks beautiful and it will be sad when they eventually take down all of the flowers. Right now I miss the United States, but I know I’ll miss Toledo a lot once I’m home.

Mi segunda semana en Toledo incluyó eventos divertidos y decoraciones bonitas. Ayer fue una fiesta grande aquí: Corpus Christi. Flores, linternas, y tapices están colgando de la ciudad. En miércoles, fuimos al concierto en Toledo dónde cantantes de pop español cantaban. ¡No sabía los cantantes, pero la música fue muy bien! En jueves, nosotros deambulábamos por Toledo por la mayoría del día para admirar todas de las decoraciones. También fuimos a la catedral, donde estuvo un exhibidor muy bonito para Corpus Christi. Estoy emocionada que estamos aquí para la fiesta. Toledo se parece bonita y será triste cuando desmontan los flores. Ahora, se extraño a los Estados Unidos, pero yo sé que voy a extrañar a Toledo mucho cuando regreso a casa.
