Yesterday we went to the city of Ávila! We visited a really pretty lookout outside of the city where there was a huge cross. You could see the entire city of Ávila. After that, I saw the cathedral there. It’s beautiful and I liked it a lot because it looked different than the other cathedrals that I’ve seen during my time in Spain. We ate at a restaurant with delicious food. I ate bread, a salad, a pork chop with French fries, and a chocolate dessert. I had a lot of fun during the excursion! Today, we went to the pool again and spent time doing homework. It makes me sad that we only have 2 weeks left in Toledo.

Ayer fuimos a la ciudad de Ávila. Visitamos un lugar muy bonito afuera de la ciudad donde puedes ver un cruz grande y toda la ciudad de Ávila. Después, vi la catedral allí. Es bonita y a mi me gustó la catedral mucho porque se parece un poco diferente de otras catedrales que yo las he visto durante mi tiempo en España. Comemos en un restaurante con comida deliciosa. Yo comí pan, una ensalada, una chuleta con papas fritas, y un postre de chocolate. Me divertí durante la excursión. Hoy, fuimos a la piscina otra vez y pasamos tiempo hiciendo la tarea. Me pone triste que sólo tengamos dos semanas más en Toledo.
