Each week, the university we are studying at (UCLM) takes us on a tour of somewhere in Toledo. This week, we went to the El Greco Museum. El Greco is a very famous Spanish painter. He painted a lot of works picturing Jesus Christ, his disciples, and more. I saw a magnificent painting of the city of Toledo in the museum. The painting includes a legend, or key, that explains the map of the city he painted, and this legend was accurate for that time period. We also saw a beautiful house that was not the house that El Greco lived in, but it is similar to how houses in that time period were. I really like going to art museums and seeing the paintings from different centuries, so I liked the El Greco Museum a lot!

Cada semana, la universidad donde estamos estudiando (UCLM) nos trae en un tour de un lugar en Toledo. Esta semana, fuimos al Museo del Greco. El Greco es un pinturero español muy famoso. Pintó muchas obras de Jesús Cristo, sus discípulos, y más. Vi una obra magnífica de la ciudad de Toledo que está en el museo. La obra incluye una leyenda o llave que explica la mapa de la ciudad en la pintura, y esta leyenda fue correcta para esta época. Además, vimos una casa bonita que no fue la casa en donde vivió El Greco, pero es similar a una casa típica de esta época. Me gusta ir al museos de arte y ver las obras de siglos diferentes, entonces me gustó el Museo del Greco mucho.
